Seven years ago, Brooke Davis was travelling overseas when she received bad news from home.

Brooke Davis was working part-time in a Perth bookshop when her manuscript excited the attention of a publisher.

Even ahead of its release in Australia, the novel started a bidding war with sales to publishers in more than twenty countries from the USA to Portugal.
